Suspended visions

Suspended painted screens created by Charlet Davenport for her show “Their Own Vision,’’ at the T.W. Wood Museum, Montpelier, Vt., through Sept. 23

The museum says:

“Davenport has masterfully painted recognizable copies of Vermont painter T.W. Wood (Thomas Waterman Wood, 1823-1903) paintings on one side of fiberglass screens suspended from single wires about chest level to viewers. On the other side of the screens are depictions of figures that hold personal significance to Davenport, such as her great-great-grandfather James Holland, a watercolorist of great renown who taught in Queen Victoria’s household. Also included in ‘Their Own Vision’  installation are handmade ceramic vessels and prints from Davenport.’’
