Greek mythologies

  It's not surprising to see the economic fantasists now running Greece cozying up to Vladimir Putin's Russian police state. There's the shared (and reactionary) culture of the  Orthodox Church, for one thing, and the  irrationality that comes with years of living in corrupt civic cultures.

And it's not surprising that the Greeks have made such a mess of European Union membership. It should never have been allowed into the E.U. It's a corrupt, quasi-Middle Eastern nation, although it was also  a wellspring of Western Civilization. Thank God  the E.U. haven't let in the Turks, now fast becoming another corrupt dictatorship.
