The show is a collection of cyanotype images. Gail Erwin says she delights "in discovering patterns and rhythms in nature and creating mysterious, layered images." This exhibition is separated into "four distinct sections" that each explore a different aspect of Erwin's work: ‘‘Quartets,’’ four cyanotype images framed together to create "a conversation between their elements"; “Crowds,’’ images created from photographs taken at an Amsterdam museum where "shifting and gathering" lines of people created patterns from above; “L'Eau,’’ where cyanotype images are created with baggies of water and handmade paper; and finally, “Fragments of Time,’’ cyanotypes collaged onto paintings that use a limited palate and gestures that "reference landscape."
